Rainbow Flags
Dear World,

@apiandlgbtq began in May of 2020 on Instagram in efforts to strengthen diverse digital real estate and to connect Asian, Native Hawai'ian, Pacific Islander, Desi, and Asian-Indigenous LGBTQ+ communities across the globe.

By conducting literature searches, engaging online communities, and cultural research, we reintroduce APID LGBT+ in the most authentic and consumable way through various mediums.

You will find four major themes to our content: Historical, Cultural, Academia Research, and Anecdotal content.

API&LGBTQ advances social justice by engaging with Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi, and Asian-Indigenous communities in culture-center advocacy, content creation, and community engagement.

We envision a world where the various groups of the diasporas of Asia and the Pacific Islands are thriving and empowered to realize their cultural identities and liberation.
